Our Story
Founded in 1998, Dutch Bros began as a small family bakery with a single oven and a conviction: that bread should be made the way time has always demanded it — slowly, by hand, with ingredients you can trust.
Today we are so much more than a bakery. Our adjacent market carries an ever-curated selection of local cheeses, preserved goods, specialty flours, and pantry essentials — many from producers within a hundred miles of our door.
Everything we make follows the same rule: if we wouldn't serve it to our own family, we won't offer it to yours.
From Our Kitchen
Each morning our bakers arrive before dawn. By the time the door opens, the shop is already fragrant with freshly baked bread and pastries.
Bakery
Our signature 48-hour fermented loaf — thick, crackling crust and a crumb open and tender enough to make anyone pause.
Bakery
Twenty-seven layers of French butter and laminated dough, baked to a deep gold. Made by hand, never rushed.
Market
Small-batch olive oils, aged cheeses, house-pickled vegetables, and specialty flours sourced from Oregon producers.
The Dutch Bros Difference
We built this shop to be the kind of place people return to — not just for what we make, but for how it feels to be here.
Every loaf, every pastry begins its day hours before we open. We believe the best bread cannot be hurried, and our schedule reflects that conviction.
Our dairy comes from Willamette Valley creameries, our grains from Oregon mills, and our produce rotates with what local farms bring to market each week.
Our shop is designed to slow you down. Grab a seat, try a sample, or take a box of something wonderful home to the people you love.
From the Shop
Morning light on the bakery floor, the daily ritual of shaping dough, and the corner of the market where the week's best finds await.
